Perception is Deception,

You observe the stars, your thumb, your thoughts, your first memory….

In one swift movement of your awareness, you seem to traverse infinite space. And time. And scale.

How is that possible?

We see the world as multitudes, as complexity, as “other”.

At the same time, we intuit everything to be one whole,

because our awareness is the medium that connects everything we experience.

It is all oneness,

wholeness shining with your awareness.

Unbroken awareness that in every millisecond tries to become conscious of itself, embrace itself,

and thereby produce an appearance of infinite changes, infinite lines of separation.

We are that power which constantly unites and splits the observed,

by the very act of observation.

How?

To answer the question, we have to find out what we are.

But we seem to have forgotten who we are.

At the same time, we simply are, so to us everything is simultaneously known and unknown.

Our partial forgetfulness and partial remembering is the root of the mirage called world.

A world that seems whole and split.

Why?

As long as we don’t remember what we are,

we forget that observing ‘reality’ is generating ‘reality’.

This is a paradox. We are a paradox.

Because we are a paradox, we are split.

We observe through a cracked lens.

No. The crackis itself the lens of perception.

Our perception is a splitting power, because our perception is founded in separation.

Perception is deception.

Transcending perception is uniting. Transcending perception is knowing there is nothing to unite.

How?

Awareness/ oneness can only perceive awareness,

but there is nothing to describe, because anything truly whole is imperceptible.

And oneness cannot perceive anything as other.

So, to know and experience something, awareness is drawn to the illusion of difference, of “other”.

The crack.

Without the crack of otherness there would be nothing to see, no seer, no seeing.

This illusion of a crack in oneness, attracts and distorts pure awareness, original oneness, by creating the appearance of difference, distance and time.

This sense of separation fragments our sense of what we are.

The crack splits pure free awareness into the trinity of involved consciousness: the observer, the power of observing, and the observed object.

This trinity can be seen on every level of our experience as human beings.

This trinity of perception locks us into a limited view.

A fixed stare. Blindness.

By splitting into the trinity of perception, awareness gives birth to its child, consciousness.

Consciousness is a tool that deals in separation and difference. Consciousness is observing, naming and computing itself endlessly.

Eternally swirling as a star, a cloud, your thoughts; all lifting in one continuous wave of self-computing information projecting conclusions. A perfect self-feedback loop.

And you start to think you are that amazing computing power projecting the dance of rippling illusions.

You think you are that thinking person.

That body tool.

Drunk with the power of being conscious of consciousness , we forget that we were awareness.

We are the pure light of oneness passing through the crack of observation and memory,

refracted into colours to cause the appearances of time, space and causation.

Everything you observe is you, and you only know something because it is you.

You perceive the imagined image of the world in the cracked mirror of your consciousness,

then, in that imagined world, you perceive the person called you.

You see how lost one is in the labyrinth of infinite manifestation.

How even the ones who long to remove the imaginary veil of the world, may make the veil either more transparent or heavier, by this wish.

So, knowing this is the moment to help the thinning of the veil, awareness inspires consciousness who whispers in the ear of the person-tool that the world is not a labyrinth to figure out, nor to escape.

It is a sign to be read, and that by reading it, he may discover the imaginary split, right at the heart of his being. And behind the split, he may find himself. Pure eternal light.

You tell him: Reality appears to be a trinity, as if there are You; the world; The One.

Understand that only pure awareness, The One, exists. The unbroken. The whole. The first. The last. The unchanging.

When you know this, you stop struggling with the illusion of You; World; God. When you know what is real, the world of time, space, and matter becomes the support of the imagined individual, your friend on the path of knowledge.

How do I get there?

There is no way to go there, no bridge to cross because there is no split to heal. The split was an illusion. The idea of a “you” and a “path” is illusion. The real is everywhere. You touch it in every breath. The real is you. Truth is your sense of I.

I is pure awareness. I is oneness.

Your true being (awareness) permeates everything because everything is brought into appearance by awareness trying to know awareness.

Ripples are endlessly generated by your interaction as a person, a separate thing. Ripples which are again computed by consciousness; to form yet another layer of illusion for your person, your conscious tool, to learn from, to struggle with, to inquire into.

You start to wonder: What is truth? Who am I?

You may adopt the subtraction method of looking around and saying, No, this is not me, not this, not that, not this. You may see that your body-ego-mind is just a tool for realisation. That what you used to call you, is not truly you.

This analytical approach of saying, I am not this, I am not that, is only useful for a part of the way. It only helps until the point where all divisions have been understood to be one original division.

And that this division is imaginary.

That wholeness is your nature already.

Then that person-tool awakes to his true self; eternal awareness. Awareness that knows that it is unchanged by the ripples of appearances rippling through the ocean of awareness.

That ocean is you.

Your sense of I, is that ocean.

Free of time.

Free of space.

Unborn being.

Love.
